About The Position

Volt is immediately hiring for a Bilingual Production Associate in Vernon, California. As a Bilingual Production Associate, you will collaborate with adjacent departments to retrieve clean containers and place them on the production line. You will fill containers with brewed tea and add required ingredients according to established procedures. You will handle raw materials and coordinate with team members to efficiently complete all preparation stages prior to fermentation. You will remove prepared containers from the production line and place them onto pallet carts for transport to the designated fermentation area. You will maintain clean and organized work areas by rinsing and cleaning floors and equipment as needed. You will operate industrial washing and drying equipment and distribute clean towels to designated departments. You will follow all company safety, quality, food safety, and sanitation policies and procedures. You will rotate among brewing assignments and responsibilities as required to support operational needs. You will maintain a safe and productive work environment. You will perform other duties as assigned.

  • Frequent exposure to moving mechanical equipment and production machinery.
  • Frequently lift, carry, push, and move containers weighing up to 45 pounds.
  • Frequent bending, twisting, reaching, grasping, and repetitive hand and arm movements.
  • Frequently handle and stretch materials using hands and fingers.
  • Occasionally pull pallet carts weighing up to 800 pounds with assistance or approved material-handling equipment when applicable.
  • Ability to work safely around production equipment and follow all safety guidelines.
  • Requires frequent use of personal protective equipment (PPE) as designated by company policy.
