About The Position

Zions Bank is hiring a Bilingual Preferred Teller to work with members of the community and help them build a better financial future. The role involves accurately processing debit and credit transactions in accordance with bank policies and procedures while maintaining an acceptable balancing record. The teller identifies and addresses client needs by providing a variety of banking services, resolves client problems directly or by referring them to appropriate resources, and explores client needs to identify opportunities to cross-sell bank products. The position pays a minimum of $17 per hour and is scheduled Monday through Thursday from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Friday from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Some cashiering, customer service, balancing, or other related experience.
• Basic knowledge of math, cashiering, balancing, debits, credits, bank products, and/or banking.
• Solid balancing and customer service skills.
• Ability to cross-sell bank products based on client needs.

Responsibilities

• Accurately process debit and credit transactions in compliance with established policies and procedures.
• Maintain an acceptable balancing record.
• Identify and address client needs by providing services such as opening accounts, issuing counter checks, performing account maintenance, issuing or activating ATM cards, making money transfers, ordering checks, and receiving loan payments.
• Resolve client problems directly or refer them to appropriate branch or bank resources.
• Explore client needs to identify and maximize opportunities to cross-sell bank products.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
