About The Position
The Epilepsy Care Center in Irving, Texas, is seeking a new bilingual (English/Spanish) patient coordinator. The qualified applicant must have previous patient coordinator experience, familiarity with EHR systems (NextGen is a plus), as well as excellent typing, spelling, and medical terminology skills and knowledge. You will be documenting in the patients� electronic health records. Also, in the position as a new patient coordinator, duties will include calling patients, entering new patient demographics, scanning, and other clerical duties as required.
Requirements
- Previous patient coordinator experience
- Familiarity with EHR systems
- Excellent typing skills
- Excellent spelling skills
- Excellent medical terminology skills and knowledge
- Minimum of one year of physician office experience

- Previous NextGen EHR experience
- Pediatric Neurology experience
