Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- 1 to 2 years in staffing, recruiting, HR, or administrative support
- Bilingual in English and Spanish
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, and the ability to build rapport fast
- Sharp organizational skills and comfort juggling priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven setting
- Proficiency with Microsoft Suite and/or Google Suite, plus experience with an Applicant Tracking System
- Confidence conducting in-person and phone interviews with real attention to detail
- A proactive, solution-first mindset and the ability to work independently and on a team
Nice To Haves
- An associate or bachelor's degree in HR, Business, or a related field is a plus
- Agency experience is a bonus
Responsibilities
- Run the day-to-day staffing operation at the client location and be the go-to contact for both the client and the associates working there.
- Build genuine relationships with clients and job seekers, and be the first call for staffing needs, placements, and ongoing support.
- Review resumes, assess candidates, and spot the right talent for each role.
- Partner with recruiters and leadership to build staffing strategies that hit hiring goals.
- Represent Midway at job fairs, recruitment events, and community outreach to keep a strong pipeline flowing.
- Own the onboarding process, from background checks to new hire paperwork, and keep every file complete and compliant.
- Lead first-day logistics so new hires feel welcomed and set up to succeed.
- Support payroll by reviewing hours, processing timecards, and approving them accurately and on time.
- Check in regularly with clients and associates to keep satisfaction high and catch issues early.
