About The Position

Join Ascend Staffing as a Bilingual On-Site Manager / Recruiter supporting a warehouse customer in Terrell, Texas. This role is ideal for someone who is bilingual in English and Spanish, highly organized, people-focused, and comfortable supporting employees in a fast-paced warehouse staffing environment. In this position, you’ll help support daily staffing operations, employee communication, attendance, onboarding, workforce coordination, and client service. You’ll also serve as an important point of contact for associate employees and must be available to support urgent situations, including workplace injuries outside of regular business hours.

Requirements

  • Must be bilingual in English and Spanish
  • Must be able to work an 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM or 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM schedule
  • Must be available to be on-call and respond to injuries outside of regular work hours as needed
  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced warehouse environment
  • Professional, dependable, and solution-oriented attitude
  • Comfortable using computer systems, email, and basic office technology

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience in staffing, recruiting, HR, administrative support, or customer service
  • Experience working in an on-site, warehouse, or customer-facing role
  • Familiarity with timekeeping, attendance tracking, onboarding, or scheduling systems

Responsibilities

  • Serve as an on-site point of contact between Ascend Staffing, associate employees, and the warehouse customer
  • Support daily staffing operations, employee check-ins, and workforce needs
  • Assist with recruiting, onboarding, orientations, and new hire paperwork
  • Monitor attendance, timekeeping, call-offs, and daily employee updates
  • Maintain accurate employee records, documentation, and reports
  • Communicate professionally with client supervisors and internal Ascend teams
  • Support compliance procedures and help ensure company policies are followed
  • Respond to employee questions and provide excellent customer service
  • Assist with workplace injury response and communication, including after-hours situations when needed
  • Help resolve employee concerns professionally and promptly
  • Support general HR, staffing coordination, and administrative tasks as assigned
