About The Position

We are hiring for a Bilingual and biliterate Spanish language instructional designer. This role is based in the Eastern Time Zone (ET), and candidates must be available to work and interview during ET business hours (8 AM–4:30 PM ET). The position involves designing and developing engaging multimedia learning experiences for employees, integrating instructional design, video production, and Spanish-language localization. Professional arborists will provide talent support for live-action shooting, while you will create multimedia content using Adobe Premiere Pro or After Effects and audio tools. You will collaborate with stakeholders and subject matter experts (SMEs) to translate complex arboriculture concepts into effective learning solutions delivered via our Learning Management System (LMS). This role is crucial for a strategic company initiative focused on leading the industry in excellent, scientifically grounded tree care and offers a unique opportunity to enhance our online learning paths for key company roles.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree (required)
  • Fluency in Spanish (in speech, reading and writing) (required)
  • 2+ years' instructional design experience with proficiency in Articulate Rise and Storyline course authoring tools (required)
  • 2+ years’ experience with Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects tools (required)
  • 2+ years’ experience with Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator tools (required)
  • Linked work sample/profile (required)
  • Must be able to work and interview during ET business hours (8 AM–4:30 PM ET)

Nice To Haves

  • Degree in Graphic Design, Instructional Design, Education, Communications or a related field is preferred
  • LMS administration and AI experience is preferred

Responsibilities

  • Analyze audience needs
  • Design and develop engaging, informative, and visually compelling online learning objects and courses for the Bartlett School of Arboriculture, including text, graphics, interactions, and simulations
  • Collaborate with stakeholders and Learning Resource Manager (initially) to plan multimedia projects
  • Collaborate with SMEs to create content and logically organize it
  • Use Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects to develop mixed media video
  • Produce and edit multimedia projects, including writing and narrating scripts in English and Spanish
  • Evaluate and update media projects as needed
  • Assist LD Manager and LMS Administrators with LMS administration, if needed
