About The Position

GarityAdvantage, an Integrity company, is a leading Independent Marketing Organization (IMO) specializing in Medicare insurance products. Established in 1970, GarityAdvantage supports a nationwide network of independent agents while serving more than 250,000 Medicare beneficiaries. Headquartered in Norwell, Massachusetts, the organization is rapidly expanding beyond its New England roots into new growth markets, including Virginia. The Medicare Field Sales & Agent Development Manager is responsible for driving agent growth, field marketing, and business development throughout the Tampa, FL area. This highly field‑based role (approximately 80% travel) partners closely with Medicare carriers, internal account teams, and independent agents to generate new prospecting opportunities and increase production. This role focuses on community engagement, senior‑focused marketing initiatives, agent recruitment, and hands‑on field support. Success is measured by agent activation, lead generation, market penetration, and overall production growth.

Requirements

  • Fluent in English / Spanish
  • Previous sales, field marketing, or business development experience (insurance or Medicare preferred)
  • Strong relationship‑building, networking, and face‑to‑face communication skills
  • Hunter mindset with a results‑driven, sales‑oriented approach
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines
  • Excellent organizational, time management, and follow‑up skills
  • Comfortable presenting, training, and engaging groups in the field
  • Proficiency with CRM tools, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and virtual meeting platforms
  • Willingness to become licensed and Medicare‑certified within 3 months, if not already
  • High energy, self‑motivated, and team‑oriented

Responsibilities

  • Execute field marketing and community engagement strategies across assigned Virginia territory
  • Identify and cultivate relationships with senior centers, housing communities, healthcare providers, retail locations, and local organizations
  • Collaborate with Medicare carrier representatives to support agent growth initiatives
  • Develop and negotiate lead‑generation opportunities for agents
  • Plan and support health fairs, marketing events, sponsorships, and agent recruiting events
  • Deliver in‑field agent training and promote carrier and community opportunities
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with agents, agencies, carriers, and community partners
  • Track and report field activity, community engagement metrics, and business intelligence
  • Maintain accurate records in CRM systems
  • Support agent recruitment efforts and leverage social media for lead development
  • Partner with internal teams to meet or exceed market production goals
  • Participate in monthly production and strategy calls with leadership
  • Travel consistently throughout territory and attend required market events
