Bilingual Medical Assistant - Spanish Required
About The Position
If you became a medical assistant to take care of people, not to race through 60 strangers a shift, this is your office. Requirements
- Fluent Spanish and English (required)
- Completed medical assistant training program
- 1+ year in an outpatient medical office
- Experience with an EMR. eClinicalWorks is a plus, and we train.
Nice To Haves
- Phlebotomy experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Room patients, take vitals and enter them in the chart accurately
- Draw blood, run EKGs and assist providers with in-office procedures within your scope
- Prepare the provider for each visit: reason for visit, medications, gaps in care
- Explain next steps to patients in English and Spanish, and confirm they understood
- Keep rooms stocked and clean, and help the front desk or a teammate when your rooms are empty
