About The Position
As a Leasing Consultant at a 142-unit apartment community, you will be the first point of contact for potential residents, helping them find their ideal apartment home. This role involves greeting prospects, showing apartments, closing sales, and processing rental applications and leases in compliance with fair housing laws. The ideal candidate has a passion for building relationships and possesses a friendly and professional demeanor.
Requirements
- At least 6 months of leasing consultant experience.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish).
- Good leasing and closing skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to type 30 WPM and be organized.
- Computer skills in Word, Excel, Outlook, and Yardi or other similar programs.
- Must be able to work Saturdays.
- Valid Texas Driver’s License
Responsibilities
- Greeting visitors and residents
- Answering and returning resident calls, as well as email requests
- Completing guest cards and lease paperwork correctly and timely
- Selling features and amenities to prospective residents
- Showing apartments
