About The Position

Join the Fidelis Team as a Bilingual Maintenance Manager! We are seeking a Bilingual Maintenance Manager to lead our facility's maintenance operations and ensure all equipment, machinery, and infrastructure operate efficiently. This hands-on role will manage a team of up to six Maintenance Technicians, develop and implement preventive maintenance programs, and collaborate with various departments to support production goals.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 5-7 years in industrial maintenance
  • At least 3 years in a supervisory or managerial role
  • Strong background in PLC programming and troubleshooting
  • Strong background in hydraulics
  • Strong background in pneumatics
  • Strong background in robotics
  • Strong background in welding
  • Proven ability to lead, train, and develop a maintenance team
  • Effective communication with management, production teams, and vendors
  • Skilled in scheduling and tracking maintenance activities, inventory, and budgets
  • Knowledge of safety regulations and commitment to a safety-first environment
  • Willingness to adjust work hours (evenings/weekends/on-call) to meet operational needs

Responsibilities

  • Supervise, train, and mentor up to six Maintenance Technicians, providing guidance on troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and daily tasks.
  • Develop and manage a comprehensive PM schedule using CMMS, minimizing downtime and maximizing equipment lifespan.
  • Monitor and maintain all machinery, electrical systems, plumbing, robotics, hydraulics, pneumatics, and PLCs; perform MIG/ARC welding when needed.
  • Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, and infrastructure issues to keep operations running smoothly.
  • Maintain cost-effective inventory levels, manage vendor relationships, negotiate contracts, and monitor maintenance spending.
  • Ensure adherence to OSHA regulations and company policies, fostering a safety-first culture and conducting regular audits.
  • Work closely with the Plant Manager and production teams to align maintenance plans with production goals and schedules.
  • Lead initiatives to enhance maintenance processes, adopt new technologies, and streamline operations.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, track performance in CMMS, and communicate progress to key stakeholders.
