About The Position

This role provides crucial support to the HR department, focusing on recruiting, candidate support, onboarding, and general HR administration. The Bilingual HR Assistant will play a key role in managing the recruitment process, ensuring a smooth onboarding experience for new hires, and maintaining accurate HR records. This position requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication abilities, with a specific need for professional Spanish proficiency.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with updating job descriptions and posting open positions on job boards, internal postings, and recruiting platforms.
  • Review employment applications and resumes to identify candidates who meet basic qualifications.
  • Coordinate and schedule interviews with candidates, hiring managers, and interview panels.
  • Communicate professionally with candidates regarding application status, interview details, and next steps.
  • Maintain accurate candidate records within the applicant tracking system (ATS) or HRIS.
  • Support recruiting events, job fairs, and hiring initiatives as assigned.
  • Assist with preparing new-hire onboarding materials and orientation packets.
  • Track completion of pre-employment requirements, including background checks, drug screens, and employment authorization documentation.
  • Ensure new-hire paperwork is completed accurately and submitted in a timely manner.
  • Support new-hire orientation sessions and onboarding activities, including leading orientation as needed.
  • Maintain recruiting and onboarding spreadsheets, logs, and reports.
  • Prepare routine recruiting reports, metrics, and hiring summaries.
  • Assist with data entry and record maintenance within HR systems.
  • Ensure confidentiality and proper handling of sensitive employee and candidate information.
  • Support HR projects related to recruiting process improvement, training, and employee engagement.
  • Partner with hiring managers to support staffing needs and scheduling requirements.
  • Communicate effectively with internal departments and external candidates.
  • Escalate issues or delays appropriately to HR leadership.
  • Support Front Desk by filling responsibilities when position is vacant.
  • Support key projects to Human Resources department as needed.
