About The Position

Cleans and services buildings, offices, shop areas, furniture, fixtures & windows. Maintains cleanliness of lunchroom, microwave & kitchen twice daily. Empties waste baskets, removes trash for daily disposal, including recycling bins, inserting liners. Vacuums carpeted areas daily, spot cleaning stains. Responsible for yearly carpet shampoo schedules. Polishes tile floors annually. Sweeps & mops floors daily. Machine buffs or burnishes as needed. Cleans & sanitizes bathrooms daily including supplies of paper products & soap. Maintains grounds and premises: mowing, landscaping, cleanup, raking, trimming & parking lot.

Requirements

• High school degree or equivalent.
• Ability to stand for long periods of time.
• Exposure to normal office environment, shop hazards, some chemical hazards and products.
• Read and follow verbal instructions; follow established safety procedures; visual acuity.
• Effectively communicate in both English and Spanish.
