About The Position

We are seeking a full-time Clinical Therapist for our Functional Family Therapy (FFT) Program to provide mental health treatment services to emotionally disturbed children and adolescents in assigned programs. This role involves providing intensive, community-based mental health services to children and families as part of a multidisciplinary Functional Family Therapy (FFT) team. The therapist will conduct intakes and comprehensive clinical assessments, including diagnosis, and develop and implement individualized, strength-based treatment plans. The position requires working intensively with youth and families in their homes and collaborating with school personnel, DMH, DCFS, DPS, and other service agencies. Participation in Child and Family Team (CFT) meetings and collaboration with internal team members (e.g., case managers, rehab staff, psychiatry) and external partners are essential. Therapy will be delivered in home, school, office, and other community settings, with a strong emphasis on accessibility and engagement. The role also includes responding to client crises and symptom management needs, potentially involving on-call responsibilities outside regular work hours. Maintaining up-to-date records and data with the FFT CSS system, including progress notes and outcome data, is also a key responsibility. The majority of mental health services will be provided in the home, school, and/or other community-based settings.
