Requirements

  • Previous management experience in the food service, restaurant, or hospitality industry.
  • Experience leading, managing, and developing a team of 6 to 10 employees.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in both French and English, verbally and in writing.
  • Demonstrated commitment to delivering exceptional hospitality and guest service.
  • Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and point-of-sale systems such as Micros.
  • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience overseeing inventory, food safety, and operational compliance is considered an asset.
  • Food Handler Certification is considered an asset.

Responsibilities

  • Accountable for P&L performance, including achieving sales, food cost, and labour cost targets.
  • Provide weekly business updates and progress reports to senior management.
  • Effectively plan, organize, and execute all operational routines and activities during each shift.
  • Ensure compliance with all company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements, including Food Safety, Quality Assurance, and Health & Safety standards.
  • Consistently enforce and maintain Quality, Service, and Cleanliness standards, including adherence to company recipes and food preparation standards.
  • Recruit, train, coach, mentor, direct, and supervise Team Members to meet business needs while serving as a positive role model for the entire team.
  • Prepare schedules, monitor staffing levels, and manage labour costs to ensure operational efficiency.
  • Manage inventory, including ordering, receiving, conducting monthly inventory counts, and maintaining accurate inventory records.
  • Oversee daily food production and make adjustments as needed to support sales demand while minimizing waste.
  • Ensure operational reports and required documentation are completed accurately and on time.
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with third-party vendors, local partners, external customers, and host location management.
  • Assist with daily food preparation and production activities as required.
  • Take appropriate action to ensure all Guests receive exceptional service; anticipate and exceed guest expectations; foster a welcoming environment; and address requests and concerns promptly and professionally.
  • Provide occasional support to other corporate locations within a reasonable distance of the primary work location.
