Bilingual Estates Officer (Day Shift)

About The Position
As an Estate officer, you will use all the tools at your disposition to locate the executors, Notary, Branch, Insurance company and/or lawyers in order to update the deceased profile information.
Requirements
- Required to communicate with teams located across Canada
- 2 years of Credit management & recoveries experience and a strong knowledge of bank related lending products
- Ability to accurately assess recovery potential of accounts
- Bilingualism (English and French) required, as you will regularly do business with RBC partners and/or employees across Canada with English and French speaking needs.
- Strong researching and negotiation skills
- Excellent time management capabilities
- Ability to work effectively when dealing with ambiguity
- Strong ability to use various web-based systems and interact with internal and external contacts
- Ability to balance customer service mindset and risk/loss mindset
- Ability to work day shifts within the business hours of 8am - 5pm Monday to Friday
Nice To Haves
- Knowledge of TS2, CACS and Sales Platform
Responsibilities
- Complete the necessary follow-up to ensure the accuracy of our records
- Initiate outbound calls and receive inbound calls for the team
- Once the executor is contacted, obtain all necessary and relevant information to reach a mutual agreement for the re- payment of the deceased’s debt
- Ensure a balance between quality Customer Care and effective collections techniques
