About The Position

As a Bilingual Early Talent Recruiter, you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping the future workforce by attracting and hiring top student and new graduate talent across Canada. You will make an impact by partnering with Personal Banking & Commercial Banking business leaders on full cycle early talent recruitment and providing consultation that focuses on target university and college students. This includes proactively attracting and identifying diverse talent while partnering with various university and college contacts to build a solid pipeline for co-op/interns. You will ensure that consistent, high quality on-campus recruitment and social media best practices are used, reflecting positively on RBC’s competitive position in the marketplace for top student talent, with a focus on the RBC brand.

Requirements

  • Fluent Bilingualism (English and French) required, as you will regularly do business with RBC partners and/or potential candidates across Canada with English and French speaking needs; Communication in English and French, both written and verbal.
  • Passion for mentorship and developing the next generation of talent.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and advise senior leaders.
  • Advanced presentation and communication skills developed through experience delivering presentations to a large audience.
  • Exceptional organizational skills to manage high-volume hiring cycles with a flexible attitude to work in fast-paced environment.
  • Event planning skills and driving engagement on social media to increase visibility and awareness.
  • Ability to travel for campus activations and events.

Responsibilities

  • Be a driver of transformation and lead with recruitment business outcomes to lead student activities including sourcing, student experience and conversions.
  • Use creative data first approach to attract top talent and build proactive student pipelines for hiring targets each placement term through events, information sessions, etc.
  • Partner with hiring managers and HRBPs as a strategic talent advisor, providing market insights, competitive intelligence, and consultative guidance on early talent acquisition strategies.
  • Manage full-cycle campus recruitment – identify and engage talent, post requisitions, interview, and manage candidates through the interview and offer process for program and non-program hires (co-op/intern, summer and new grad) this also includes onboarding activities.
  • Proactively generate candidate flow through a variety of sourcing channels, including school partnerships, social media, student organizations, college and university career centers etc. and research and initiate other channels as appropriate.
  • Engage in proactive student development activities to promote RBC as a choice employer and as an expert in on-campus recruitment.
  • Drive strategic partnerships with internal groups to engage top student talent across the enterprise.
