About The Position
This role involves providing one-on-one speech therapy services to children, incorporating play-based, functional, and engaging interventions. The position requires regular communication with caregivers and the child's care team, maintaining detailed documentation, and coordinating scheduling to ensure continuity of care.
Requirements
- Active North Carolina Speech-Language Pathology assistant license
- Minimum of one (1) year of experience with kids
- Ability to deliver therapy services effectively in a child’s natural environment
- Strong time management, organization, and independent clinical decision-making skills
- Clear, professional communication with families and care teams
Nice To Haves
- One (1) or more years of experience in early intervention, home-based, or community-based pediatric settings
- Experience working with diverse diagnoses, including autism spectrum disorder and developmental delays
- Familiarity with CDSA service delivery and documentation requirements
- Comfort with electronic documentation and mobile scheduling workflows
Responsibilities
- Provide one-on-one speech therapy services
- Incorporate play-based, functional, and engaging interventions into therapy sessions
- Communicate regularly with caregivers and members of the child’s care team
- Maintain detailed and compliant documentation aligned with payer and CDSA requirements, when applicable
- Coordinate scheduling and maintain continuity of care with families and the All About Therapy administrative team
