Riverside Community Care is seeking an Early Head Start Home Visitor to work one-on-one with low-income families from diverse ethnic backgrounds. This role provides in-home and some on-site educational services to support families with infants or toddlers, or pregnant women. Through weekly home visits and socialization groups, the Home Visitor partners with pregnant women and families with children birth to three years of age to enhance their healthy growth and development. The position assists families in receiving comprehensive services in areas such as health, nutrition, early childhood and parenting education, social services, and problem-solving support to help families meet personal goals. The ideal candidate will have a commitment to working with low-income and immigrant families, knowledge of community resources, and the ability to establish caring and supportive relationships. Familiarity with child development and/or social services delivery systems is beneficial. The role requires managing a caseload of 12 families, prioritizing tasks, planning work, setting goals, and effectively using time. Proficiency with computerized data systems for tracking family services is also necessary.
