About The Position

TTI Power Equipment is hiring Bilingual Customer Support Associates for its Customer Experience Department at its Anderson, South Carolina office. The role responds to consumer, service center, and distributor inquiries about company policies and procedures; handles warranty coverage and service guidance; resolves issues; and supports customers with parts, repairs, orders, pricing, stock availability, and order status. The position is on 1st shift, Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., with weekend work required. Starting pay is $17.11 per hour. The company offers a comprehensive benefits package.

Requirements

High school education or equivalent.
Minimum one year of TTI customer service, call center, or closely related field experience with inbound calls.
Strong written and verbal skills.
Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with callers.
Ability to professionally handle irate callers and high-stress situations.
Excellent phone skills.
Ability to satisfy consumers and end users with minimal management intervention.
Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel.
Weekend work is required.

Nice To Haves

Knowledge of Microsoft Access.

Responsibilities

Respond accurately to consumer, service center, and distributor calls regarding the company's policies and procedures.
Verify and authorize warranty coverage for callers.
Provide helpful direction to callers dealing with warranty and non-warranty service.
Resolve issues for ASC or consumers while maintaining a flexible approach to enforcing policy.
Provide callers with locations to purchase parts and receive repair service.
Work with internal customers on warranty claims, stock issues, and lost or damaged freight.
Enter orders and provide pricing, stock availability, and order status to customers.
Perform other duties as assigned.
