Bilingual CSS Client Support Specialist
About The Position
The Tax Help program at Foundation Communities is seeking a team of enthusiastic, motivated individuals who can help us provide high-quality tax return preparation at our tax sites during the 2026 tax filing season. Tax team members make a tremendous impact in the Austin community while gaining meaningful non-profit experience working for a well-respected organization. The Client Support Specialist position responds to client inquiries via telephone and email. Client support specialists work at Prosper Center South at 2900 S I-35 Frontage Rd, Austin, TX 78704. Our seasonal jobs offer flexible schedules: full-time and part-time including weekdays, evenings, and weekends. Temporary Position: December 2025 – April 2026.
Requirements
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Prior experience working in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency with technology and knowledge of computer operations and software
- Written and verbal proficiency in English
Nice To Haves
- Ability to communicate in multiple languages both written and verbal proficiently (English and Spanish and/or Arabic)
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality customer service for clients calling in with questions
- Capture detailed notes for each client case and collect information as necessary to resolve issues
- Schedule appointments for clients
- Transfer calls to other Tax Help program departments as needed
- Protect client confidentiality
- Complete all specified paid training and tax certifications
