Bilingual Credit Advisor, Mortgage Renewal Centre of Excellence
About The Position
RBC is transforming how Canadians approach their mortgage decisions and is growing its specialized team to lead the way. This role involves working with clients at their mortgage renewal, helping them understand their options and find solutions. The position offers opportunities to learn on the job, grow credit knowledge, and build expertise in mortgage advice, home equity, and personal lending, serving as a launchpad for a career in financial advisory. This is a nationwide opportunity, allowing work from any region across Canada. The role requires full flexibility to business hours, which operate Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM – 8:00 PM, and Saturday 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM (local time).
Requirements
- Bilingualism (English and French) required.
- Proven track record of successfully structuring credit deals and submitting credit applications.
- A genuine interest in homeownership and passion for advising clients.
- Strong communication skills: ability to explain things clearly, listen well, and build rapport.
- Self-motivated: takes initiative, follows through on commitments, and translates goals into actionable results.
- Comfort with flexibility: adaptable in a fast-paced environment and comfortable working evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities
- Connect with clients approaching their mortgage renewal, listen to their goals, and help them explore their options.
- Stay in touch with clients throughout their entire renewal journey, making sure they feel supported.
- Discuss mortgages, home equity, and credit solutions in a way that makes sense for each client.
- Identify ways to help clients with other financial needs and introduce them to the right team.
- Collaborate with branch teams, mortgage specialists, and other advisors to connect clients with the right solutions.
