About The Position

We are looking for a bilingual copywriter who is creative, strategic, and passionate about words, capable of developing strong ideas and creating impactful content in both English and French. The ideal candidate has English as their native language, has a perfect command of English advertising copywriting, and demonstrates an excellent ability to translate, adapt, and write in French with nuance, precision, and cultural sensitivity. Requirements

  • Native English speaker, with excellent creative writing skills.
  • Excellent command of written French, including the ability to translate and adapt content from English to French.
  • 2–3 years of experience in copywriting, content marketing, agency work, or a similar creative environment.
  • Strong sensitivity to brand tone, strategy, and the impact of words.
  • Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines.
  • Collaborative spirit, curiosity, rigor, and attention to detail.
  • Comfortable receiving and incorporating feedback constructively.
  • Ability to write clearly, persuasively, originally, and with adaptability for different audiences.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience writing for telecommunications clients is an asset.

Responsibilities

  • Develop creative ideas and original advertising concepts for integrated campaigns.
  • Write compelling content in English for various channels: digital, social media, video, brand experience, banners, newsletters, print, etc.
  • Translate and adapt texts from English to French with a strong focus on accuracy, tone, and cultural relevance.
  • Collaborate with creative, strategy, account management, and production teams to develop cohesive and effective campaigns.
  • Participate in brainstorming sessions, propose creative angles, and clearly defend your ideas.
  • Ensure the linguistic quality of deliverables in both languages.
  • Maintain brand message consistency, regardless of language or platform.
  • Adapt to different industries, target audiences, and communication styles.
