About The Position

Westchester Jewish Community Services (WJCS) is seeking a Bilingual Clinical Social Worker to join their Crime Victim Advocacy Support Services Program team. This role involves providing trauma-informed mental health services to individuals and families impacted by crime. The position is full-time with a salary range of $65,000 - $75,000, based on experience and licensure.

Requirements

Valid NYS license as an LMSW or LCSW; LMHC’s are also encouraged to apply.
Thorough knowledge of clinical practices and therapeutic approaches for individuals and families impacted by trauma and crime.
Bilingual English/Spanish.
Ability to work two late nights per week, typically until 7pm.
Ability to travel throughout Westchester County, as needed.

Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive intake assessments and develop written treatment plans in collaboration with clients.
Monitor and update treatment plans on a quarterly basis, working with clients to achieve identified goals.
Utilize and implement evidence-based clinical practice techniques.
Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation, including agency and OVS reports.
Provide treatment in multiple modalities, including individual, family, and group therapy.
Provide emergency and general coverage for the afterhours hotline.
Deliver crisis intervention services as needed.
Collaborate with community partners and maintain appropriate client-related contacts with external agencies and resources.
