About The Position

Preventive Measures is seeking a bilingual therapist (Spanish/English) to join our team and provide quality, culturally competent mental health services to a diverse client base. The therapist will conduct assessments, provide individual, family, and group therapy, and develop treatment plans tailored to client's needs. This role is integral to ensuring access to mental health care for Spanish-speaking clients and their families, fostering an inclusive and supportive therapeutic environment.

Requirements

  • Fluent in Spanish and English
  • Master’s Degree in a Human Services-related field
  • Licensed in the state of Georgia in one of the following licenses (LAPC, LMSW, LPC, LCSW, LMFT, LAMFT, Psychologist, Psychiatrist, APRN, and/or RN, CADC)
  • Two years of minimum direct-care clinical services with individuals with mental health diagnoses
  • Must be able to navigate mobile applications and electronic health record systems.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with an ability to engage effectively with diverse groups.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including some evenings and weekends, as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments to determine client needs and the appropriate level of care.
  • Provide evidence-based individual, family, and group therapy to clients.
  • Develop, implement, and regularly update individualized treatment plans with measurable goals.
  • Provide culturally sensitive services, addressing the unique needs of Spanish-speaking clients and their families.
  • Refer the client to supportive services to supplement treatment and counseling.
  • Maintain accurate and timely clinical records, including assessments, session notes, and treatment plans, in accordance with Preventive Measures policies.
  • Document all services in the EHR within 48 hours of rendering the service.
  • Collaborate with other team members, including case managers, psychiatrists, nurses, and therapists, to ensure comprehensive care.
  • Participate in case conferences and clinical supervision.
  • Provide immediate support and crisis intervention when necessary.
  • Attend required training sessions and participate in continuing education opportunities to maintain licensure and improve clinical skills.
  • All other clinical tasks as assigned
