Requirements

  • 1-2 years of experience working as a legal assistant or paralegal in a law firm required
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Spanish
  • Comfortable handling client communication via phone and written channels
  • Strong attention to detail with high accuracy in legal documentation
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities

Responsibilities

  • Draft and assist with discovery responses and legal documentation
  • Support attorneys with administrative and legal tasks as needed
  • Assist in maintaining efficient workflow across ongoing cases
  • Ensure accurate recordkeeping and document management
  • Handle inbound and outbound phone communication with clients and opposing counsel
  • Summarize depositions and case-related materials
  • Provide regular updates to clients regarding case status
  • Prepare and organize pleadings for attorney review
  • Maintain accurate calendaring of deadlines, hearings, and appointments
  • Manage client intake processes and collect relevant case information
