About The Position

We are seeking a qualified and compassionate Bilingual Chinese-Speaking Pediatrician to provide comprehensive pediatric care to children and families across New York. The physician will support children’s growth and development and communicate effectively with patients and families in English and Chinese. The role is based in Staten Island and includes rotations at locations in Brooklyn and New York.

Requirements

MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
Completion of an accredited Pediatrics residency program.
Board-certified or board-eligible in Pediatrics.
Active New York State medical license or eligibility to obtain one.
Fluency in English and Chinese; Mandarin and/or Cantonese proficiency should align with the clinic’s patient population.
Strong clinical judgment, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Commitment to providing compassionate, family-centered pediatric care.

Nice To Haves

Previous outpatient pediatric experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Conduct routine pediatric examinations, wellness visits, and developmental assessments.
Diagnose, treat, and manage common childhood illnesses, injuries, and medical conditions.
Monitor children’s physical growth, developmental milestones, and overall health.
Administer and manage vaccinations in accordance with recommended immunization schedules.
Provide preventive care, nutritional guidance, and age-appropriate health education to parents and caregivers.
Order and interpret diagnostic tests and refer patients to specialists when necessary.
Develop individualized treatment plans and coordinate follow-up care.
Communicate diagnoses, treatment options, and preventive health recommendations in English and Chinese.
Maintain accurate and timely patient records in compliance with applicable healthcare regulations.
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated, high-quality patient care.
