About The Position
Make a Difference Where It Matters Most—At Home $19 per Hour | DailyPay Available | Urgently Hiring. As a Caregiver, you will play a vital role in improving quality of life and bringing comfort, dignity, and support to those who need it most. Case Details Palatine, Illinois Approximately six-hour shifts, five to six days per week Schedule may be shared between two caregivers Anticipated start in late August Familiarity with Indian culture is preferred.
Requirements
- Ability to speak Hindi, Bengali, Marathi, Gujarati, or another language or dialect commonly spoken in India
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Professional or personal experience caring for elderly or disabled individuals preferred
- Compassionate, patient, and dependable personality
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Reliable transportation to and from the client’s home
- Ability to lift, stand, bend, and assist the client as needed, up to 50 pounds
Nice To Haves
- Familiarity with Indian culture is preferred
Responsibilities
- Provide personal care support, including bathing, grooming, dressing, and hygiene assistance
- Assist the client with mobility, transfers, and daily living activities
- Encourage safe movement and activity in accordance with the established care plan
- Prepare meals and assist with feeding when needed
- Perform light housekeeping, laundry, and other household tasks
- Provide companionship and emotional support to improve quality of life
- Promote a safe, comfortable, and respectful home environment
