About The Position

Amigo Care ABA is seeking a part-time Bilingual Behavior Therapist (BT/RBT) for in-home services in the Gaithersburg Area. This entry-level opportunity is ideal for Spanish speakers who want to make a difference in the lives of children diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and within the Latino community. The role involves working directly with experienced BCBAs, collaborating with caregivers, and delivering effective, compassionate ABA services. Amigo Care ABA offers paid training to become a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT), covering all associated costs, and provides hands-on experience. Requirements

High school diploma required
Bilingual in Spanish and English (spoken and written)
Reliable personal transportation (rideshare services not accepted)
Passion for working with children with developmental disabilities and making a positive impact while working in clients’ homes
Interest in psychology, education, or behavior therapy
Patient, empathetic, professional, and dependable

Nice To Haves

Bachelor’s degree in psychology, education, social work, child development, or related field preferred

Responsibilities

Provide 1:1 ABA therapy to children with autism in their homes
Follow behavior intervention plans created by a BCBA
Accurately collect and document data during each session
Support skill development in communication, social interaction, and daily living
Collaborate with supervisors, families, and team members to ensure consistency
Build trusting, supportive relationships with clients and their families
Participate in regular training, supervision, and professional development
