Behavior Therapist
About The Position
Community Health and Wellness, LLC offers top-notch services for individuals with disabilities throughout Texas. We have current openings in Austin, Texas with FLEXIBLE HOURS and COMPETITIVE RATES! We are seeking Independent Contract therapists to serve for the following: Provide one-on-one therapy sessions with children and adults with disabilities. Create tailored programs to meet the needs of individuals with TBI, PTSD, Autism, Cerebral Palsy, Spinal Cord Injury, Spina Bifida, Developmental Delay, and/or other physical or intellectual disabilities. Provide evaluations and ongoing services. Complete weekly and quarterly documentation as needed.
Requirements
- Psychologist licensed in accordance with the Texas Occupations Code, Chapter 501; OR Provisional license holder licensed in accordance with the Texas Occupations Code, Chapter 501; OR Psychological associate licensed in accordance the Texas Occupations Code, Chapter 501; OR Clinical social worker licensed in accordance with the Texas Occupations Code, Chapter 505; OR Licensed professional counselor licensed in accordance with the Texas Occupations Code, Chapter 503; OR Behavior analyst certified by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board, Inc.
- Received training in behavioral support or have experience in providing behavioral support
- Reliable transportation
- Valid driver’s license
- Agency-required auto liability insurance (100k/300k Bodily Injury)
- Access to a private personal laptop or desktop computer for HIPAA compliance
- Resume
- Certification/License in respective field (LCSW, LPC, BCBA, etc)
- Auto Insurance (100k per person/300k per accident in bodily injury liability)
- Professional Liability Insurance (upon hire)
- Valid Social Security Card
Responsibilities
- Provide one-on-one therapy sessions with children and adults with disabilities
- Create tailored programs to meet the needs of individuals with TBI, PTSD, Autism, Cerebral Palsy, Spinal Cord Injury, Spina Bifida, Developmental Delay, and/or other physical or intellectual disabilities
- Provide evaluations and ongoing services
- Complete weekly and quarterly documentation as needed
- Travel to current or prospective clients’ homes
- Transport client(s) during client visits
- Communicate with health care professionals, clients, families, and the general public through verbal and written communication
- Track SMART goals and progress through weekly documentation using Microsoft Word, Excel, and Adobe Reader
- Implement patient care plans through home and community goal-related activities
- Work independently, manage one’s own time and the time of client(s)
