About The Position

Chuck’s Auto Parts Solutions is seeking a Bilingual Automotive Parts Counter Sales Associate. No prior auto parts or sales experience is required; the company provides comprehensive training in parts, systems, and customer service. The ability to communicate in both Spanish and English is crucial for assisting customers effectively. This role involves active customer service and sales, balancing phone calls, walk-in customers, and order details, with an emphasis on accuracy and follow-through.

Requirements

• Fluent spoken and written Spanish and English.
• A genuine interest in cars and automotive parts.
• Basic computer skills and a willingness to learn new systems.
• Clear communication and comfort helping customers in person and by phone.
• Dependable attendance and the ability to work on site in York.
• Fluent in Spanish and English (written and spoken) — Required
• Automotive knowledge or willingness to learn quickly
• Strong communication skills — phone skills are a must!
• Basic computer proficiency
• Ability to multitask and stay organized

Nice To Haves

• Previous automotive experience is welcome but not required.
• Experience in retail, restaurants, customer service, or other hands-on work can also be a strong foundation.
• Experience with recycled, reman, or aftermarket parts
• Background in collision, mechanical repair, or heavy equipment
• ASE certifications

Responsibilities

• Help customers in Spanish and English, at the counter and over the phone.
• Ask questions, listen carefully, and help customers find the right parts.
• Learn to look up parts, check inventory, prepare quotes, and process orders accurately.
• Work with our yard and warehouse teams to help orders move smoothly.
• Follow up with customers and follow through on your commitments.
• Build trust through friendly service, honest answers, and attention to detail.
