About The Position

Demant Canada is seeking an audiologist or hearing instrument specialist to join their Audiology & Training team. This is a remote, home-based role open to candidates located anywhere in Canada. The successful candidate will focus on providing audiological phone support to customers, including fitting, troubleshooting, software, and instrument selection, as well as conducting technical product reviews. The role involves collaboration with Sales and Training teams, with a possibility of some travel, and participation in seminars, workshops, and product launches.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree or equivalent in Audiology or Hearing Instrument Specialization
  • 2+ years experience within a clinical environment
  • Knowledge of NOAH and manufacturer software
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and interpersonal skills to interact with customers
  • Experience in selection and fitting of Hearing Instruments and FM systems
  • Testing, fitting hearing aids, programming software and verification equipment
  • Strong communication, customer service, interpersonal and presentation skills
  • Excellent time management and negotiation skills
  • Strong technical problem-solving abilities
  • Able to work independently
  • Excellent teamwork skills
  • Bilingual in English and French, written and verbal is mandatory
