Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Experience in a licensed preschool setting
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Fluent in Spanish and English (reading, writing, and speaking)
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or related field OR CDA certification
- 5–10 years of experience in licensed childcare OR 2–3 years in a Montessori environment
Responsibilities
- Support the Lead Teacher in creating engaging, hands-on learning experiences
- Take initiative and proactively assist with classroom needs and daily routines
- Build and maintain positive relationships with children, families, and team members
- Encourage open, positive communication with families to support each child’s development
- Help maintain a safe, nurturing, and inclusive classroom environment
- Collaborate with your teaching team to support children socially, emotionally, and academically
- Assist with additional duties as requested by school leadership
