About The Position

The Goddard School is seeking floating assistant teachers for their infant/toddler program (3 months-2 years old) at their Murray Hill location. The school emphasizes that teachers are their first priority and treats faculty like family. The facility is a brand new, state-of-the-art preschool with 13 classrooms, each equipped with phones, Apple iPads, and Bluetooth speakers. It also has a fully stocked supplies room, an on-site indoor gym, private outdoor play spaces, and face recognition for school entry. The Goddard School has been dedicated to early childhood education for over 35 years, empowering educators and making a difference in children's lives.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent

Nice To Haves

• An Associate's or Bachelor's degree is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Working alongside the classroom teachers to implement planned activities
• Establishing and maintaining a safe, healthy and nurturing learning environment
• Supporting each child’s social and emotional development
• Establishing positive and effective family relations and communication
• Maintaining routine and structure in the classroom
