About The Position

GESI is expanding and seeking a Bilingual Area Procurement Analyst, Eastern Canada. This role supports the implementation of national procurement strategies across Eastern Canada and is ideal for a bilingual professional early in their career looking to bridge the gap between corporate strategy and local operations. The analyst will gain exposure to multi-site procurement, vendor management, and data-driven cost optimization in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment. Working closely with the Area Procurement team, regional operations teams, and corporate procurement leadership, the Area Procurement Analyst will provide data-driven insights for cost savings initiatives, assist with area/regional RFPs, and help maintain vendor relationships and standardized procurement processes across the area.

Requirements

  • 1–3 years in procurement, supply chain, or a related field.
  • Diploma or Degree in Procurement or related discipline.
  • Fully bilingual in French and English (spoken and written).
  • Strong analytical ability.
  • Proficiency in data tools.
  • Excellent interpersonal communication.
  • Adaptable, self-motivated, and comfortable leading through influence in a decentralized environment.
  • Valid work authorization in the country where the job is located is required.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working with vendors in both urban and rural or remote regions.
  • Knowledge of procurement challenges in the Eastern Canada market.
  • Comfortable working in a decentralized purchasing environment.
  • Experience with Workday P2P processes is an asset.
  • Experience developing AI tools to enhance procurement functions is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Translate national procurement initiatives into actionable plans for branches, ensuring alignment with corporate standards.
  • Analyze spend data to drive cost savings and process improvements within the area.
  • Serve as a bilingual point of contact for regional operations, assisting with RFP processes, vendor onboarding, and procurement training.
  • Support the monitoring of supplier compliance and service quality, maintaining strong relationships across urban and rural sites.
  • Assist in resolving procurement issues and track performance to ensure operational efficiency.
