About The Position

As a Bilingual Account Supervisor at Ogilvy, you will be a pivotal partner in clients' journeys and a cornerstone of the agency's success. You will represent Ogilvy, serving as a trusted advisor for mid-level clients. Collaborating with account leadership, you will drive operational discipline, ensure delivery excellence, accelerate speed to market, optimize resources, and manage profitability across assigned accounts. The role requires efficient operators with demonstrated commercial acumen and a keen understanding of business and financial principles. Account Supervisors are organized, accountable leaders capable of cultivating strong relationships and leveraging diverse expertise across Ogilvy’s capabilities. The role involves rigorously interrogating client briefs and assignments to uncover and solve broader business challenges, encouraging courageous action and conviction, and fostering collaboration to deliver groundbreaking work. Must be Bilingual (French and English).

Requirements

  • 4+ years of relevant, client-facing industry experience, with a proven track record in managing the "making" and delivery of exceptional work.
  • Ideally, a breadth of experience across several different accounts, delivering programs in at least three distinct capabilities (e.g., B2C, B2B, retail, CPG, digital, tech, PR & influence).
  • Demonstrable knowledge of client and agency operations, coupled with a solid working understanding of Ogilvy’s comprehensive capabilities.
  • A strong background in the strategy and development of programs, with the ability to consistently provide strategic and solid thinking to clients.
  • A curious and lifelong learner, eager to adapt and evolve in a dynamic industry.
  • Proven expertise in negotiation, capable of achieving mutually beneficial outcomes.
  • Documented experience in forming strong and lasting client relationships at lower-to-mid-levels, fostering trust and partnership.
  • Demonstrated capability to deliver projects on budget and on time, showcasing strong organizational and execution skills.
  • Developing commercial abilities and strong business and financial acumen, contributing to profitable account management.
  • A nuanced understanding of the agency’s internal processes and how they strategically align with and impact the client’s business objectives.
  • Possesses strong internal relationships, particularly with creative teams, fostering a harmonious and productive working environment.
  • A keen listener with the ability to read people and dynamics within a room, adapting communication style and responses effectively.
  • Exhibits strong accountability and a calm, confident presence, even in challenging situations.
  • Must be Bilingual (French and English).

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary day-to-day project contact, seamlessly connecting clients, creative teams, and other agency partners to ensure alignment and smooth execution.
  • Skillfully manage client objectives, expectations, and timelines, ensuring clear and timely communication of all changes and directions to the internal team members.
  • Work integrally with all internal stakeholders to facilitate the development of insightful strategies and compelling briefs that consistently lead to impactful, on-strategy creative work.
  • Act as a crucial influencer on the efficiency and quality of deliverables, passionately advocating for both the agency’s vision and the client’s best interests.
  • Mobilize and inspire integrated teams, fostering forward progress, decisive action, and measurable results.
  • Masterfully present work from a delivery standpoint, articulating the value and strategic intent behind every output.
  • Develop a deep understanding of staffing and scoping requirements, taking full ownership of client budgets to manage costs, deliverables, and resource allocation effectively.
  • Proactively identify potential project risks and adeptly develop robust contingency plans to ensure project continuity and success.
  • Serve as a mentor, coach, and/or direct manager to junior team members, actively supporting their professional growth and development within the agency.
  • Champion the development and maintenance of high levels of team effectiveness, fostering trust, open communication, collaboration, productivity, diversity, and engagement.
  • Demonstrate a profound understanding and respect for each department’s unique role in delivering outstanding work and actively build strong, collaborative relationships across the agency.
