About The Position
Bike Mechanics repair and maintain bikes within the Rec Services rental fleet, and for customers. Mechanics determine parts needed and order as necessary. Work is generally during the week with hours to be coordinated with supervisor, generally 2-8 hours per week.
Requirements
- Experience repairing bikes
- Tuning front & rear derailleurs
- Tuning brakes
- Replacing tubes/changing tires
- Lubing chains
- Wrapping handlebars
- Mechanical skills
- Interest in learning more about repairing bikes
- Availability during shop hours
