Big/Jumbo Truck Mechanic
About The Position
Eastern Lift Truck Co. is seeking a Big Truck Mechanic to support their Piscataway, NJ location and surrounding areas. The primary focus will be on diagnosing, repairing, inspecting, and maintaining equipment, mainly large capacity forklifts, often in port and heavy industrial locations. The mechanic will be expected to provide courteous and professional service while maintaining a clean and safe work environment in compliance with Company and OSHA Standards.
Requirements
- 5+ years’ experience repairing forklifts and/or heavy equipment
- Working knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems
- Cummins experience
- Exceptional customer service skills
- Must have own tools
- Clean driving record
- Stable work history
- Dependable, self-motivated professional
- Excellent work ethic and a POSITIVE attitude
- Ability to provide references of prior employers
Nice To Haves
- Experience as a road mechanic a plus
- Welding / fabricating experience
