About The Position

As the Big Dam Van Event Coordinator, you will be the face of Duluth Trading Company’s "boots on the ground" experiential tour. You will serve as a brand ambassador, navigating the country to bring the Duluth brand to life through unique event activations and engaging social content. This role requires a high degree of autonomy, a passion for the brand, and a willingness to embrace the adventure of life on the road.

Requirements

  • Must have a valid Driver’s License and a favorable driving record.
  • Ability to work independently and within a team environment.
  • Must be able to work major holidays and stay in hotels or part-time housing during the tour.
  • Successful completion of a background check, including driving records.
  • Successful completion of a drug screen.
  • Authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Nice To Haves

  • Prior experience working with the public or in consumer-facing roles is preferred.
  • Equivalent work experience will be considered.

Responsibilities

  • Arrange advance event logistics, including booking and permitting as needed, and maintain direct communication with event hosts.
  • Drive the Big Dam Van to all scheduled events and lead the setup and execution of the on-site event presence.
  • Serve as a spokesperson for the brand, greeting consumers and leaving them with a positive brand experience.
  • Take full ownership of social media channels for the tour, creating engaging content for platforms like TikTok, Meta, and Instagram.
  • Manage vehicle upkeep, maintenance, and the inventory of event infrastructure. Alert HQ when merchandise needs replenishment and immediately report any issues with the event vehicle to the appropriate manager.
  • Coordinate with local retailers and regional Duluth staff to set event expectations and ensure successful on-site support.
  • Meet monthly quotas for a specific number of events or strategic stops between major activations.
  • Regularly report back to Duluth HQ regarding event success, scheduling, and any issues that need resolution.
