About The Position

The Bid & Business Development Coordinator plays a pivotal role in driving the growth and success of the organization by managing and coordinating the end-to-end bid process for new business opportunities. This position is responsible for collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop compelling proposals that align with client requirements and company capabilities. The coordinator ensures timely submission of high-quality bids while maintaining compliance with all regulatory and client-specific guidelines. Additionally, this role supports business development initiatives by conducting market research, tracking industry trends, and identifying potential opportunities to expand the company’s client base. Ultimately, the Bid & Business Development Coordinator contributes to securing new contracts that enhance the company’s competitive position and revenue growth within the North American market.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
  • At least 2 years of experience in bid coordination, proposal management, or business development.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and experience with proposal management software.

  • Experience working within the United States government contracting or commercial sectors.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems and bid tracking tools.
  • Knowledge of contract law and procurement processes.
  • Project management certification (e.g., PMP) or business development training.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and manage the preparation, review, and submission of bids and proposals in response to Requests for Proposals (RFPs) and other business opportunities.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders including sales, legal, finance, and technical teams to gather necessary information and ensure proposal accuracy and compliance.
  • Maintain and update bid databases, track proposal progress, and ensure deadlines are met consistently.
  • Conduct market research and competitive analysis to support business development strategies and identify emerging opportunities.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of business development plans and client engagement activities.
  • Prepare presentation materials and support client meetings as needed to facilitate successful bid outcomes.
  • Monitor and report on bid performance metrics and provide insights to improve future proposal effectiveness.
