About The Position

The Team Leader is responsible for assisting all Team Members to successfully complete requirements for all production classifications. This role involves maintaining a clean and orderly work area, ensuring quality standards are met, and participating in process improvement teams. The Team Leader also assists the Area Manager in ensuring team members understand work instructions and adheres to all safety regulations. Additionally, they ensure correct paperwork utilization and completion accuracy, and check that last piece samples are complete.

Requirements

• High School Diploma and/or GED preferred
• Previous Team Leader experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Assisting all Team Members to successfully complete requirements for all production classifications
• Keeping work area clean, neat, orderly, and possess good housekeeping techniques
• Authorizing cessation of production if parts do not meet quality standards (with approval)
• Involved in process improvement teams working with parts as required
• Assisting Area Manager in ensuring that team members understand all work specific instructions instruction sheets
• Adhering to all safety regulations and reporting any safety concerns
• Ensuring/assisting Team Members in utilization of the correct paperwork and completion accuracy including tags, uptime reports, set-up, check lists, Production Logs/ Flip Charts & production reports
• Checking to ensure last piece samples are complete by Team Members
• Other duties as assigned
