About The Position

This role is responsible for a variety of human resources functions, including screening applicants, participating in interviews, extending job offers to hourly personnel, and enrolling employees in company benefits. The administrator will assist employees with benefit-related questions and issues, screen accident reports, participate in 8D activities, and maintain the OSHA Log. Responsibilities also include conducting background and reference checks, scheduling and coordinating new hire orientations, and conducting orientation segments. The role involves placing job advertisements on websites and in newspapers, coordinating hiring with corporate administrators, and initiating payroll and payroll changes. Additionally, the administrator will track absenteeism, manage hourly employee insurance responsibilities (including open enrollment and issue resolution), monitor employee evaluations in UltiPro, and track training in Plex. Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • College degree, preferably in human resources or a related field.
  • At least one year of experience in human resources.
  • Computer literate.

Responsibilities

  • Place classifieds and advertising for hiring purposes on websites and in newspapers.
  • Coordinate hiring with corporate administrator for web site placement.
  • Initiate payroll and payroll changes (shift changes, terminations, increases, department changes, promotions).
  • Track absenteeism daily using the point system/software.
  • Manage hourly insurance responsibilities, including open enrollment and resolving issues.
  • Monitor hourly employee evaluations in UltiPro.
  • Enter and track training in Plex.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
