BI Developer

As a member of the WPP IT - GroupM IT team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing enterprise analytics and reporting products, as well as performance management solutions. You will contribute to the data architecture and integration, analyze business/data requirements, and provide support for data warehouse and reporting solutions. Proficiency with Power BI and experience in modern data warehousing, Azure technologies, and data visualization concepts are required. Additionally, certifications in relevant skills and experience in the media/advertising industry are beneficial.

• Design and implement enterprise analytics, reporting products, and performance management solutions
• Contribute to the design, configuration, and deployment of enterprise performance solutions using Microsoft SQL Server analytics technology stack
• Contribute to data architecture and data integration with dimensional data modeling, data sourcing/mapping, and data flow within the implemented solution
• Analyze business/data requirements, estimate, and perform data preparation
• Provide ideas to enhance the product and deliver additional value to users
• Act as an expert to deliver consistent answers for reinsurance data-related questions
• Support key users and business users regarding data warehouse and reporting solutions to improve data analysis interpretation
• Proficiency with Power BI, including experience with Power Query and end-to-end implementation of Power BI solutions
• Implement row-level security on data and understand application security layer models in Power BI
• Knowledgeable in M and DAX, skilled in SQL
• Experience with modern data warehousing, Azure Data Factory, Azure Automation, Azure Data Lake, and Azure Data Lake Analytics
• Design and implement new data visualization concepts and global business intelligence approaches
• Design new reporting approaches based on warehouse data model and reporting standards
• Familiarity with agile software development and technology best practices
• Knowledge of data governance processes
• Comfort with industry-standard version control tooling
• Media/advertising industry experience is a plus
• Certifications or equivalent skills in AZ-204, AI-900, DP-100, DA-100, and/or DP-203 are beneficial
• Excellent English skills, other languages are a plus

• Completed university studies in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a comparable field
• Proficiency with Power BI, including 3+ years of Power BI and Power Query experience
• End-to-end experience within Power BI, including ETL, publishing secure reports and dashboards, and implementing row-level security
• Knowledgeable in M and DAX, skilled in SQL
• Experience working with modern data warehousing and Azure technologies such as Azure Data Factory, Azure Automation, Azure Data Lake, and Azure Data Lake Analytics
• Experience with design and implementation of new data visualization concepts and reporting approaches
• Familiarity with agile software development and technology best practices
• Understanding of data governance processes and industry standard version control tooling
• Media/advertising industry experience is a plus
• Certifications or equivalent skills in AZ-204, AI-900, DP-100, DA-100, and/or DP-203 are beneficial
• Very good English skills, other languages are a plus
