About The Position

The BI Data Acquisition Analyst plays a critical role in onboarding and maintaining global hospitality industry data that powers our Business Intelligence solutions. This position is responsible for ensuring the acquisition, quality, governance, and ongoing integrity of data assets by working closely with leading hospitality organizations, technology providers, and independent hotels worldwide. The analyst will partner with both business and technical teams to deliver high-quality data that meets extract specifications, validation standards, and business requirements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
  • Experience in hospitality, data management, business intelligence, analytics, or a related discipline preferred.
  • Experience working with hospitality data sources, PMS platforms, reservations data, or hotel technology systems is highly desirable

Nice To Haves

  • Hospitality industry experience with a strong understanding of hospitality terminology, standards, business processes, and hotel operations.
  • Familiarity with Property Management Systems (PMS), reservations data, central reservation systems, or other hospitality technology platforms.
  • Strong SQL skills for data analysis, validation, troubleshooting, and root cause investigation.
  • Understanding of Business Intelligence, ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes, and data integration concepts.
  • Knowledge of database, data warehouse, or data architecture principles.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills.
  • Proven ability to effectively manage projects and collaborate across business and technical teams.
  • Self-motivated, organized, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

  • Lead end to end onboarding, re-onboarding and go live activities for hotel properties participating in Demand 360
  • Coordinate integrations with PMS providers, channel managers, and hospitality technology partners, including OPERA Cloud, StayNTouch, Infor HMS, Cloudbeds, Duetto, Otelier, and similar platforms.
  • Serve as the primary liaison between customers, partners, and internal teams throughout onboarding, validation, and production support activities.
  • Analyze, validate, and troubleshoot reservation, group, occupancy, and related hospitality data to ensure data quality, completeness, and compliance with Demand360 standards.
  • Review and maintain booking source, market segment, rate plan, and other data mappings, while performing audits and root cause analysis to identify and resolve data issues.
  • Manage historical data loads, data migrations, baseline creation, resynchronizations, and onboarding remediation efforts.
  • Utilize SQL, data analysis techniques, and Unix/Linux tools to investigate data discrepancies and support operational issue resolution.
  • Recommend and implement improvements to onboarding processes, data governance, quality controls, and operational workflows.
  • Communicate onboarding status, validation results, technical requirements, and go-live readiness to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Drive projects from initial onboarding through validation, approval, and production activation while ensuring a positive customer experience.
