PER DIEM BHT ABA
About The Position
Friendship House is a behavioral health agency in Scranton, Pennsylvania, serving children and adults with behavioral health disorders through a variety of therapeutic services in Northeast Pennsylvania. The BHT-ABA provides behavior intervention services to children and youth ages 2 to 21 who have Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and related disorders. Services are delivered in center, community, and home-based programs. Staff work one-to-one using Applied Behavior Analytic (ABA)-based teaching methods and behavior intervention strategies under the supervision of a Licensed Behavior Specialist or Behavior Analyst.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Be a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT), Board Certified Autism Technician (BCAT), or Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst (BCaBA).
- Current FBI clearance, Child Abuse Clearance, and Pennsylvania Criminal History Check.
- Valid driver's license.
- Pass a pre-employment physical and drug test.
Responsibilities
- Provide one-to-one behavior intervention services to children and youth ages 2 to 21 with ASD and related disorders.
