About The Position

Saint Clare's Health is seeking a BH Social Worker I to provide emotional support, crisis intervention, and counseling to patients and families dealing with issues related to treatment, illness, disability, or trauma. The role provides information and referrals, including referrals for financial assistance and supportive services. The social worker provides case management and milieu management, completes psychosocial assessments, assists with developing and reevaluating treatment plans, and works as part of an interdisciplinary team. The position also coordinates discharge planning and completes required documentation while maintaining a clinical record for each client throughout their stay.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, or another related field.
Current registration as an intern with the Board, as appropriate to education and licensing requirements.
Current BCLS (AHA) certificate upon hire and maintain it as current.
Complete Behavior Violence Prevention within three months of hire and maintain it annually.

Nice To Haves

Master’s degree in Psychology, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor, or a related field.
At least one year of inpatient or outpatient Behavioral Health experience.
