Bi-Bett Corporation is a California based non-profit organization engaged in the treatment and recovery of adults who suffer from substance use disorders, co-occurring disorders, and other social determinants of health. Originally based in Contra Costa County, Bi-Bett now operates residential, outpatient and DUI programs in Alameda and Solano Counties as well. The Bi-Bett Mission To provide effective and affordable human services to individuals, families and communities with alcohol and drug related problems in the belief that everyone has value and can grow through change if given one's rightful opportunity to choose. Our goal is to create culturally appropriate alcohol and drug-free environments in which one may experience personal and social growth. The License Practitioner of the Healing Arts (LPHA) is responsible for providing high quality, compassionate care that includes individual and group counseling, treatment assessment, treatment planning, and chart documentation review for the purpose of authorization for services provided. The LPHA position at times may require the responsibility to work alongside certified or registered staff in determining medical necessity for new incoming clients and continuing care clients. The LPHA evaluates client's assessment, intake information and creates the clinical justification for treatment. The LPHA is responsible for Substance Use Disorder Diagnosis based on the DSM-5 and identifies the level of care based on ASAM Criteria.
