About The Position

Boeing Global Services is looking for a BGS Government Supply Chain Director to join the team in Hazelwood, MO. This role will drive operational excellence across the BGS-G Air Force and Navy platforms to deliver world class performance while supporting BGS growth. The position involves establishing supply chain platform strategies to support BGS-G customer needs and business growth objectives, and ensuring purchased products are delivered on time per customer requirements. A key aspect of this role is establishing and maintaining relationships with senior leaders of key suppliers and major customers, including the US Air Force and US Navy, to enable continued partnership and future growth. The Director will also ensure flawless execution of contracting work, work placement, and driving a lean, efficient supply chain.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of experience working as a senior leader or senior manager
  • Minimum 3 years experience with general supply chain and/or program management and/or general Business Operations & Strategy
  • Minimum 3 years of experience working with multiple internal stakeholders and suppliers
  • Experience leading through influence and partnering with cross-functional teams on projects and initiatives
  • Demonstrated critical-business and financial acumen in order to influence and shape strategy
  • Must meet U.S. export control compliance requirements. To meet U.S. export control compliance requirements, a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.62 is required. “U.S. Person” includes U.S. Citizen, U.S. National, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.
  • This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. An interim U.S. Top Secret Clearance Pre-Start and final U.S. Top Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.

  • 10 years of experience in supply chain for a global organization
  • Experience establishing and tracking key performance indicators
