BFA Photo Videography Assistant
About The Position
The BFA Photography program is seeking a knowledgeable, dedicated, and enthusiastic student to join our team supporting programmatic events and End of Year festivities. This person will be working closely with program leadership and the program assistant, supporting the program on internal curricular events, including year-based Critique Days and the end of year Thesis Exhibition. The Videography Assistance is tasked with supporting the BFA Photography Program in all public events, including the Visiting Artist lecture series and End of Year festivities by helping create visual marketing materials (videos, clips, shorts, posters, digital content) for public and curricular events.
Requirements
- Fluency in the Adobe Creative Suite (particularly Premiere Pro)
- Fluency in camera operation with video settings
- Strong communication skills and responsiveness to emails
- Timely submission of work
Responsibilities
- Support the BFA Photography Program in all public events, including the Visiting Artist lecture series and End of Year festivities.
- Create visual marketing materials (posters, digital content) for public and curricular events.
- Design and print wall labels for BFA Photography Thesis Exhibition.
- Attend, when possible, programmatic events.
