About The Position

Omni Mount Washington Resort & Spa is seeking a Beverage Supervisor to oversee the day-to-day operations for the opening and closing of assigned beverage facilities. This role is responsible for maintaining staffing, service, revenue, and profit standards across various operations. Requirements

  • Minimum of one-year supervisory experience in Food & Beverage.
  • Ability to make quick decisions in high stress situations.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Pleasant and positive personality.
  • Well organized.
  • Exceptional training skills.
  • Must be available to work flexible hours to include nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee day-to-day operations for the opening and closing of the assigned beverage facilities.
  • Maintain the staffing, service, revenue and profit standards of the various operations.
  • Assist with recruiting, hiring, evaluating, and discipline staff regularly with the assistance of Human Resources.
  • Adhere to all hotel and food and beverage departmental rules.
  • Conduct and assist with all beverage inventories monthly.
  • Maintain inventory Pars for all beverage areas.
  • Assist with meeting reps, evaluating product needs and new ideas.
  • Evaluate all bars for cleanliness, ensure everything is in working order, and maintain consumptions when cash bars are needed.
  • Staff and operate all beverage areas as business demands.
  • Facilitate Omni beverage sticker checks for compliance with Omni standards.
  • Ensure a high level of professionalism in the department.
  • Have a comprehensive training program that includes employee meetings at least once per month.
  • Conduct trainings with reps.
  • Communicate hotel information, events, etc.
  • Ensure accuracy of cash handling, inventory control, proper ringing of all products, and awareness of theft.
  • Adhere to the management by objective program goals.
  • Adhere to guidelines of hiring, training, discipline and termination policies.
  • Evaluate and pre-plan for large groups and special functions including holidays.
  • Operate restaurant’s special events, coordinating staffing and service.
  • Perform opening and closing duties.
