About The Position

This is a part-time position for a Beverage Server. The role involves providing friendly, fast, and helpful customer service to all guests and team members. Responsibilities include resolving service problems, appearing in publicity photos, promoting casino events and programs, and providing fast, friendly, professional beverage service to casino guests while carrying full trays on every round. The server will monitor guest alcohol consumption and intervene as needed, take drink orders, communicate with bartenders, assist in drink preparation, and present drinks to guests. Handling money accurately, operating a cash register, making change, and making deposits are also key duties. The role requires maintaining a clean and stocked workstation, assisting with clearing glassware and other items left by guests, and participating as a team member with all staff to ensure smooth operations. Declaring tips, meeting department uniform and appearance standards, and adhering to attendance guidelines and company policies are also required. Keeping work areas clean and free of hazards, performing all job duties safely, and adhering to regulatory, department, and company policies are essential. Other compatible duties may be assigned.

Requirements

  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Excellent customer service/communication skills
  • Ability to count money and change correctly
  • Ability to earn and maintain TiPS certification
  • Ability to earn and maintain a current Food Handlers Card
  • Ability to earn and maintain RBS Certification within 60 days of employment.
  • Available to work required schedule which may include nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed
  • Must meet professional appearance standards as prescribed by company policy
  • Must be able to acquire and maintain appropriate gaming license.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents In English, such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to read and communicate verbally in English.
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide into all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
  • Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume, and distance.
  • Must be able to efficiently and accurately count money and gaming chips and make a change.
  • Possess the ability to operate an adding machine and have basic computer skills.
  • Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
  • Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of tray service cocktail ingredients and/or prior server experience preferred

Responsibilities

  • Perform all job duties in a safe and responsible manner.
